Synopsis

Starting a new job as a paramedic has proven to be significantly more challenging than I had initially expected. Balancing this demanding role with my academic pursuits, family obligations, and social life has become incredibly overwhelming, leading to the most intense period of stress I’ve ever experienced.

Due to this immense pressure, I decided to seek professional therapy to help manage my anxiety. At first, I found my therapist’s methods to be rather unconventional.

For example, he introduced an exercise that, while initially making me feel exposed and uncomfortable, ultimately resulted in a profound sense of emotional liberation.

The positive impact of that initial, unusual approach encouraged me to be more receptive when he suggested further, even more novel, therapeutic techniques.

To my surprise, the therapeutic process has been remarkably effective in alleviating my stress. I’ve discovered a deep sense of relaxation and benefit from our sessions, and I plan to continue attending regularly to maintain this positive impact on my well-being.
